Division Director - Homeless Services

Open Sky has more than 20 years of experience in outreach and care coordination for homeless individuals – often with co-occurring mental health diagnoses or substance use disorder – and their family members. Across our homeless programs, we provide a range of emergency and long-term services housing searches and subsidies, employment and education support, and mental health and substance use disorder counseling. Open Sky's housing programs includes our Aggressive Treatment and Relapse Prevention, Housing Initiative Program and South County Housing Assistance Program. 

The Division Director ensures the successful achievement of the divisions goals and objectives, oversees and implements the operations and requirements of services and provides oversight of program leadership in the management of their programs. They communicate with DPH, ACO’s, Mass health, EOHHS, health care, Justice entities, For Health consulting and other stakeholders.  

Other Key Responsibilities:

• Hire, supervise, and evaluate program leadership in the management of their programs and function areas.
• Work collaboratively with billing team to ensure that billing is accurate, on time, and satisfies the requirements of participating insurance entities and funding sources. 
• Monitor program budgets in conjunction with the fiscal manager and the service director.  Make changes and develop corrective actions as necessary. 
• Work collaboratively with the Team leads, Housing Specialist. and Clinical Lead to monitor and ensure the delivery of interventions in accordance with the ISP at the appropriate frequency via review of the support plan and contact notes; make recommendations as necessary. 

• Bachelors Degree in Human Services or related field, required.
• Previous experience working with homeless, justice involved and underserved populations, adults with serious and persistent mental illness and substance use disorders, required.
• A minimum of five years supervisory experience, required.
• Experience working closely with landlords, housing managers, and housing resources in the community, and experience with housing first model, required. 
• Experience with local resources, navigating health, behavioral health and/or substance use treatment system, required.
• Valid Drivers' License and acceptable driving history, required.
